3 September Petit Bain Paris

Well another night out on the Seine? Our neighbour was a lido named Josephine Baker our backstage moved to the whims of the river.

I’ve played on the Eiffel tower the Olympia and now on the Seine . Do I have any more Parisian gig ambitions? Well one at least Planete Mars run by the delightful Hakim, maybe later.

Remix la Plage made a rare and very welcome appearance as did Tim Bradshaw both on bass at different times and crooning BVs simultaneously. Mike aka mike played electric guitar with a suave sophistication which belies his postal address (only joking ST13) and I just loved singing on a boat in Paris.

Busy day for me starting at lunchtime with a webzine session at a fab café/bar Planete Mars which I thoroughly recommend, fantastic coffee served by the cool and legendary Hakim.

Thanks so much to Etienne and all the crew from ‘Froggies Delight’ and cheers Vincent for finding me at the metro Oberkampf.

Finally my romanticised and personalised version of Paris is still in keeping with the version of Paris itself that Paris wants to portray well sometimes perhaps but what do I know.
